Although those of us who use hands-free devices in our cars mean well, these electronic devices still distract us. The Washington Post recently reported that use of such devices distracts drivers for an astounding 27 seconds after usage. This is a lifetime in the world of motor vehicle accidents where even a split second can make all the difference.
