Neely Tal Snyder, Was Unexpectedly Killed In A Fatal Car Crash In Reisterstown, MD
Sad news this week. My wife told me a good friend and mentor of hers, Neely Tal Snyder, was unexpectedly killed in a fatal car crash in Reisterstown, MD on Monday morning. She sent me several news articles and has been quite upset about it. It’s a very sad story. Mrs. Snyder, who I never had the chance to meet, left behind three children and a husband.
Police said Snyder was fully stopped on Route 30 when she was struck from behind. Clearly, if these facts are assumed true, the driver of the tractor-trailer is entirely to blame and may be guilty of negligence. The surviving spouse and children would thus be eligible to make a wrongful death claim against the tractor-trailer’s operator.
Neely Snyder is survived by her husband, Rabbi Joshua Snyder and her three daughters. Our thoughts and prayers go out to this devastated family. Contributions in her memory may be sent to Goucher Hillel, 1021 Dulaney Valley Road, Towson, MD 21204 or Pearlstone Center, 5425 Mount Gilead Road, Reisterstown, MD 21136, or JQ Baltimore, 1601 Guilford Ave., 2 South, Baltimore, MD 21202-4346.
