Meg Ament
ParalegalMeg Ament joined Bob Katz Law in 1997 as a paralegal in the Litigation Department. She is a graduate of Frostburg State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Criminal Justice. She continued her education and earned a second Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies from Villa Julie College.
Meg assists clients and attorneys in all phases of personal injury litigation. During the discovery phase, she assists clients and attorneys with the preparation of discovery requests and responses. She handles the collection of all pertinent records/documents and other case materials and maintains the necessary database of case and document information for each. She also coordinates document production during the discovery phase and maintains a calendar of critical dates during the course of the litigation. She analyzes medical records, assists with the preparation of exhibits, prepares subpoenas, drafts pleadings, handles document organization, and works with witnesses, experts and court staff to assure readiness for trial.
