Humberto Vijil
InterpreterHumberto Vijil started his career as an interpreter at a very young age, working with several medical missions that arrived in his country of birth, Honduras. For eight years, he dedicated his summers to helping the less fortunate to close the language gap between doctors and patients in several remote areas in his country.
Humberto attended Catholic University in Honduras where he received a Bachelor’s in Marketing. While attending college he volunteered at hospitals and medical missions. After college, he migrated to the United States where he worked for a migrant assistance program in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. He led a team of translators and interpreters who assisted migrant workers in apple, peach and blueberry orchards. After 10 years, he relocated to Maryland where he continued to serve the Latin community at Johns Hopkins, Columbia MD.
After 10 years in the medical field, Humberto joined the personal injury practice group at Gordon Feinblatt in 2021. Humberto enjoys his work, he’s a great addition to the team and is passionate about continuing his work within the Latin community.
