In either case, it then becomes very easy for a driver to lose control of the motorcycle and slide. It is common in this situation that the motorcycle and driver separate from one another;
- 4. Impact; the motorcyclist collides with another object.
- 5. Post-Impact Motion; after any impact with a motorcycle there is a point where the driver and the motorcycle come to rest.
